Adam Thomas and his twin brother Scott have been seen on the grounds of Gwrych castle as it gets prepared for the return of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The 33 year old stars, who recently shared a touching tribute to Ashley Cain's late daughter Azaylia in a video, were spotted hanging around Kiosk Cledwyn as crew members hurried around to get the set ready for the next contestants.

Former Emmerdale star Adam, who came in as a finalist on the competition show in Australia back in 2016 and now presents Extra Camp, could be seen wearing a green jacket with a pair of white trousers as he leaned over to speak to someone behind the shop window.

Meanwhile his Love Islander brother Scott could be seen wearing a white jacket with black trousers as he walked around the area before filming scenes in front of the shop – where contestants can buy food items.

The mystery celebrities signing up for the hit reality show will once again be headed to Wales to battle the bushtucker trials after producers feared Australia could close their borders due to the coronavirus pandemic whilst filming took place.

It has now been reported that the team behind the show – won by Giovanna Fletcher last year – have lodged "extensive" planning applications with local authorities.

Producers are expected to spend "millions" of pounds on the makeover of the castle over the next three or four months to make sure it is ready for filming in November.

An insider told The Sun: "When it was first announced that I'm A Celebrity was going to be staged in Gwrych Castle the team did a miraculous job of ensuring the building was safe and usable for filming.

"But these new renovations will ramp up the facilities and provide basic amenities which they had to do without in 2020 due to the speed at which they had to make the shift."

The show's producers are said to have asked for urgent approval from the local council for the work to go ahead this summer as they need to ensure there is a proper supply of electricity into the site.
