Coleen Rooney seen leaving boxing class days before Rebekah Vardy trial begins

Coleen Rooney seemed to be in good spirits as she left a boxing class ahead of the latest stage of her libel case with Rebekah Vardy.

The mum-of-four, who recently made a rare public appearance at a charity luncheon, is due to appear in court as part of the Wagatha Christie on Tuesday 10th May.

Coleen, 36, was spotted leaving a boxing class looking relaxed in a boxy jumper and leggings, with black and gold boxing gloves over her shoulder.

With her hair tied back and wearing simple gold hoops, she can also be seen holding a green juice and car keys as she left the class.

Coleen's relaxed attitude was on full display, despite reports over the weekend that Rebekah Vardy will reportedly never speak to her again, according to Rebekah’s father.

The libel case began between the two began when Coleen accused Rebekah of leaking personal stories about her to a national newspaper, in a now infamous social media post.

Following the post, from which the term Wagatha Christie was coined by fans on social media, a libel lawsuit was launched to the tune of £1million in July 2020.

However, Rebekah denied the claims and took legal action herself against Coleen, accusing her of defamation in what has become a highly publicised case and long drawn out case.

After several months of back and forth, in April the case took a surprise turn as Rebekah dropped a U-turn bombshell, claiming she now believes her agent, Caroline Watt, could have been behind the leak.

Rebekah's father told The Mirror ahead of the hearing: "She is relieved. I'm supportive and protective of her."

He also shared how the accusations had taken a toll on his daughter.

Rebekah pointed to her father's support in an Instagram post on Father's Day in June 2021, captioned: "Dad, thank you for giving me my strength to never give up."

Throughout proceedings, Rebekah launched her first children's book, Cedric the Little Sloth with the Big Dream, written alongside footballer husband Jamie Vardy.

And the pair have set their sights on being the next Richard and Judy.

Speaking to the Mirror, she said: "It'd be great to do something like that together. We work together pretty much every day as mum and dad anyway.

"Who knows what's in the pipeline for the future, but Jamie needs to concentrate on football for the moment and I'm totally supportive of that."
