Denise Welch is well known for her acting career which has seen her play iconic roles such as Natalie Barnes on Coronation Street as well as Steph Haydock in Waterloo Road. She has recently spoken candidly about her mental health and shed some light on her married life.
Who is Denise married to?
Denise is married to painter Lincoln Townley after the pair tied the knot in 2013.
At the time of their wedding, Lincoln spoke to the Daily Mail about how lucky he felt to be with Denise.
Lincoln said: “My most brilliant achievement was persuading Denise to marry me.

“I turned 40 last year, and I have never met anyone like Denise, never been close to anyone like Denise, never loved anyone like I do Denise.”
Denise has since opened up what they get up to in the bedroom.
Talking to The Sun, Denise said: “I read a survey the other day that said sex is supposed to be better than ever in your 60s.
“And with my 60th coming up in May, I thought that was fantastic news.”
Denise went on to say how she and Lincon like to speak openly about their wants within their relationship.
She added: “I’m not afraid to tell my partner what I want.
“When you’re young, you don’t want to speak out so much. I was more of a people pleaser, but now I’m not.

Denise went on to say how her best years are still come.
She continued: “According to the survey, 66 is the optimum age for the most sexual satisfaction.
“I’ll check back in six years time and let you know if I’m still throwing him round the boudoir.”
Denise has previously spoken of how Lincon helped her get out of a dark place.
In an exclusive interview with OK!, Denise said: “We got sober seven years ago and married six years ago.
“Lincoln’s said that the only good thing that came out of drinking was meeting me. I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved together.”
