Harry Styles ‘introduces girlfriend Olivia Wilde to mum’ amid marriage rumours

Harry Styleshas allegedly introduced his girlfriend Olivia Wilde to his mum, Anne Cox, after they met on the set of his upcoming movie Don’t Worry Darling, which he’s starring in alongside Florence Pugh.

Olivia, 37, is the director of the film, and the pair began filming together in October 2020.

The In Time actor broke up with her partner of nine years, Jason Sudeokis, 46, in the November, with whom she shares two children; Otis and Daisy.

After that, over the course of filming, Olivia is thought to have been “blindsided” by her romance with fashion icon Harry, who is ten years her junior.

Soon after casting Harry for the role, Olivia gushed over the 27 year old’s acting skills, telling Vogue: “To me, he’s very modern, and I hope that this brand of confidence as a male that Harry has—truly devoid of any traces of toxic masculinity—is indicative of his generation and therefore the future of the world.

“I think he is in many ways championing that, spearheading that. It’s pretty powerful and kind of extraordinary to see someone in his position redefining what it can mean to be a man with confidence.”

The pair later attended a mutual friend’s wedding together in January where the singer referred to Olivia as his “girlfriend”, and were spotted holding hands.

Almost a year on, Harry’s said to have introduced Olivia to his mum.

A source toldThe Sun: “This looked like quite a showbizzy thing at first, two glamorous people hooking up but now it’s obviously a lot more than that.

“They held back a bit at first but now that things are more settled the time was right to do the next thing.

“It’s really exciting for them – and for Harry it’s the most serious he has ever really been about somebody.”

Apparently Harry has also grown close to Olivia’s children.

Meanwhile, Harry’s fans have predicted he might pop the question to Olivia next year.

Neither have officially confirmed their romance, but Olivia appeared to discuss her relationship with Harry and the scrutiny she’s received for dating a younger man.

She toldVoguethis month: “It’s obviously really tempting to correct a false narrative, but I think what you realize is that when you’re really happy, it doesn’t matter what strangers think about you. All that matters to you is what’s real, and what you love, and who you love.”

“In the past 10 years, as a society, we have placed so much more value on the opinion of strangers rather than the people closest to us,” she added.

“[But] I’m happier than I’ve ever been. And I’m healthier than I’ve ever been, and it’s just wonderful to feel that.”
