The announcement of their new endeavour comes after they had discussed their plans to begin a family at some point in 2021.

In the video uploaded to Janette’s Instagram story, the couple both looked fresh-faced and gleaming as they made their exciting announcement.

Janette teased: “What did we just do…”

Aljaz continued: “Something exciting.”

“We just recorded our first episode of the podcast,” the 37-year-old explained.

“Yes we did, it’s actually much harder than I thought it would be,” Aljaz admitted.

Janette, on the other hand, shared that she had found the recording process easy, as they had lots to talk about.

She added: “We definitely didn’t shut up for an hour.”

Aljaz interrupted: “Speak for yourself actually!”

The Miami born dancer also divulged there would be a chance for their fans to play a role in the podcast.

She shared: “Very excited. We’re going to get you guys involved as well actually.”

It comes as back at the beginning of the month, Janette revealed her and Aljaz’s Remembering The Oscars tour had unfortunately been postponed for a second time.

Now the event will be streamed online with a special online version of the show until theatres can reopen.

“We feel awful having to postpone our Remembering The Oscars tour for a second time due to the pandemic, but we are delighted to have been given the opportunity to film some of the highlights from the show,” said Aljaz and Janette on their social media,” they stated.

They continued to say: “We were devastated that another year would go by without sharing what we truly believe is our best show to date.

“Hopefully this will give our audience and fans a taster of what is to come next year.”

Aside from their career plans, the long-time couple were also hoping to begin a family this year.

They recently shared it is never the “perfect time” to have a baby, but they feel now is the right time for them to begin trying.

Janette and Aljaz got engaged in 2015 and tied the knot three years later in a stunning London ceremony.

The couple have both appeared as professional dancers in Strictly Come Dancing since 2013.
