Max George is not ruling out having children with his new girlfriend, Ryan Gigg's ex-wife Stacey.
The 30-year-old former star of The Wanted has been dating the 40-year-old for the past two months.
Speaking to the Press Association, George said he was "really happy" to be in a stable relationship, adding that he wanted children but was unsure how soon.
He said: "There's a difference between how I feel now in every way – not just in work. I just feel very settled in general. It's a nice feeling.
"I've always wanted kids and knew that one day I would have kids.
"I don't know whether that will be soon – I can't predict the future – or who with. But I'm really happy with where I am and I can't see it with anyone else."
He also said he planned to pen a string of songs for Stacey, who divorced former Manchester United star Ryan in 2017 after allegations of infidelity.
Asked whether he had written music for her, George replied: "Not yet – it's a bit early days at the minute, but next time I'm in the studio I'm sure there will be a few bits thrown in there.
"We've experienced a lot together already so there's plenty of stuff for me to write about."
George has also been trying to tackle the image he cultivated as part of the chart-topping five-piece.
While he hasn't cut out alcohol entirely, he said he has reduced the amount he drinks.
He said: "I take things a little bit more seriously now, whereas when I was with the lads it was so much more of a rollercoaster. Everything was heightened and it was so instant.
"You didn't really have time to breathe. You're just on this ride. That's then mixed in with all the going out and other stuff.
"This time I'm a lot more settled in terms of… I don't turn up to writing sessions hungover."
George worked with Jason Derulo on new song Better On Me and has also enlisted the help of US Grammy winning songwriter Diane Warren for the album.
George added: "I look forward to it and I want to be the best that I can be. Part of the reason is because I don't have four other lads to fall back on if I'm not on my best form.
"I think it's important that I look after myself a bit more. I've not cut anything out completely. It's just… choose your good times, you know what I mean?
"When I was with the lads it was every night. I try and do things more in moderation and I do a lot of exercise. I just treat it with a bit more care, I guess."
