Spice Girl Mel B gave staff at a local Cardiff tanning salon a fright when she popped in unannounced before the band's performance at the Principality Stadium.
Ahead of Monday night's gig, Scary Spice ventured to Tanners in Canton dressed in a onesie and flanked by her bodyguard, to use of the shop's sun beds, which cost 80 a minute.
Jodie Morris, who works at the store, told how Mel arrived at the shop hours before she was due on stage.
She told Wales Online. : "Mel popped in just before 2pm, she was wearing a onesie. She was with her bodyguard and she was inside for 10 minutes and she paid by cash
Jodie continued: "I didn't realise it was her until I checked the paper details and I could see her name, I then Googled her date of birth to see if it matched up and it did."
The 33-year-old said that she then went outside to speak to the singer's bodyguard to see if it really was Scary Spice on the sun bed.
She added: "I went outside and her bodyguard was sat in the car and I asked him if Mel B was inside and he said 'yes'.
"Someone did phone the shop in the morning asking how many sun beds we have, what time we are closing and if there was parking.
"I messaged the work group chat straight away to say that Scary Spice was inside and everyone's reaction was 'Omg, you sure it's not a lookalike'.
"When she left the salon I did ask her if she wanted a picture but she said no because she was in a rush.
"I was in shock, you just don't expect Mel B to walk in on a bank holiday Monday."
One customer, who didn't want to be named, did a double take when she went into the shop – and saw Mel B leaving.
The customer, who went in to book a nail appointment, said she looked twice as the woman was wearing a pink onesie despite it being a warm day.
She said: "I was going into the salon and I didn't really clock it at first.
"Then I saw a lady in a pink onesie and what looked like two security guards. They were both beefy-looking guys.
"I did a double take and thought 'that was Mel B!'
"When I went into the salon the receptionist was, like, 'you will never guess who was in here!'"
Mel is currently performing a string of dates with Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Mel C as part of the Spice Girls reunion tour.
So far the gigs have had a mixed reaction from fans, with some complaining about sound problems.
