Phillip Schofield is rumoured to be in talks with Strictly Come Dancing bosses to become part of the first same-sex celebrity and professional dancer couple of the show.
The 58 year old This Morning host, who came out as gay earlier this year, is said to be at the top of BBC bosses hit list to appear on the popular programme.
If Phillip were to appear on Strictly Come Dancing, it could immensely add to his reported £2.5million fortune as bosses are said to have put a big money deal on the table.
A source had told the Star: “Top-secret talks have been happening for a few weeks and an offer has been made.

“The hope is Phillip would dance with another man. If it happens it would be a beautiful and important moment both for him and for the show.”
Following reports Strictly will feature its first ever same-sex celebrity and professional dancer pairing after demands from viewers, Phillip shared his opinion on the move last year.
He said: “What’s lovely about same-sex couples is that it’s a big deal this year and then, whether Strictly or whoever does it next year, it won’t be such a big deal.”
It comes after Phillip announced he has written his autobiography, which is reported to “dish on spats with Fern Britton and Ruth Langsford”.
Phillip announced the news to his Instagram followers with a video where he appeared on the screen and said: “Hiya, I have something to tell you, which I’m very, very excited about.
“I have finally – after being asked for many years – written my book. I wrote the first line when I was 14.
“And I knew exactly how I wanted it to start, should I ever write it. And I did in fact write that first line.”
He added: “In 2017 I wrote the first chapter and sent it to a few friends and they said: ‘Oh my God you have to write this,’ and I knew I couldn't, you know why. And then my life changed and then lockdown happened and I ended up with a shedload of time on my hands.

“And I thought: ‘Well, you’ve thought about it for long enough, and you’ve written all these notes, why don’t you do it and see what happens?’ And so I did. And I wrote, and I wrote and I loved it and it’s done.
“I will take you behind the scenes of my life, my career, my family, my friends and the ups and downs that there have been – lots of ups, lots up fun, but there have also been very, very emotional times as well.”
Phillip ended his video with: “I’ve been honest, I’ve been me and it’s done. I discovered at the end of it, life is indeed what you make of it.”
