This Morning star Ruth Langsford regularly documents her life of social media and today was no different. The 60-year-old TV presenter headed to the ITV studios ahead of her stint on the morning show and gave fans a glimpse of what goes on behind-the-scenes.

Ruth filmed herself in her dressing room as she got to work on her hair and make-up in preparation for Friday’s episode.

While styling her tresses, she spoke directly to her 630,100 followers, and told them about some changes she would be making today.

The presenter, who is married to co-host Eammon Holmes, also 60, was forced to perform a DIY hair cut as all the hair salons are shut due to the coronavirus pandemic.

She captioned the footage: “Mamma Mia, here I go again!!!”

Mum-of-one Ruth told her fans: “Morning, back at This Morning today.

“Just about to do my hair and make-up, I think I’m going to have to trim my fringe today.

Moving her overgrown tresses out of her face, she added: “That is just too long, isn’t it?

“Anyway, heated rollers start the process. And we will See you at 10 O’clock, hope you can join us.”
