Salman Khan on fatherhood: I want children, but I don’t want the mother | Bollywood Life

Salman Khan has been pretty vocal about his love for kids, be it showering love on the Khan family toddlers or when he goes that extra mile for his little fans. When it comes to fathering a child, Salman is equally enthusiastic, just that he doesn’t want a mother to come along with his child. Speaking to Mumbai Mirror about fatherhood, Salman said, “I want children, but with children comes the mother. I don’t want the mother, but they need one. But I have a whole village to take care of them. Maybe I can work out a winwin situation for everyone.”

And while he states that he doesn’t want a mother to come along with the kids, Salman confesses that marriage is definitely not on his mind, “Not for some time,” added the actor.

Salman Khan is currently busy promoting his upcoming release Bharat, which features Katrina Kaif as his lady love. The film is inspired by Korean blockbuster, An Ode To My Father. Bharat will feature a young Salman Khan working at the circus and later how he ends up working at an oil mining hub. Salman will also be seen in a dashing avatar as he dons the Indian Navy uniform. The film is set across several decades and Salman and Katrina will have five different looks in it, which will showcase their journey from 18 to 60 years.

Sunil Grover and Disha Patani have important parts in the film, while Nora Fatehi will mark her presence with yet another entertaining number. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is scheduled to hit the screens on June 5.
