Spice Girls fans ‘demand refunds’ after more complaints about the show

Spice Girls fans have demanded a refund after they complained about the sound quality for a second time on their reunion tour.

The iconic pop group performed at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on Monday evening but the response was once again all about the 'sound issues' that were promised to have been corrected after their first show.

Fans took to social media to argue they could not hear the music properly from inside the venue, with some wanting their ticket price refunded.

It comes after similar complaints from the Spice Girls' performance at Dublin's Croke Park on Friday.

After that, Scary Spice – Mel B had hoped the sound "will be much better" at Cardiff but it seems that the problems may not have been fixed satisfactorily.

The group were slammed on Twitter by a number of followers, who vented their angst at what, they claimed, spoilt the comeback.

One fan, Rhys, wrote on Twitter: "And another complained: "@spicegirls not much better in Cardiff… The sound was awful again.. What a way to spend money! #refundplease."

Another upset fan wrote on Twitter: "Okay so @spicegirls was so much fun however the sound was atrocious and you could not hear what they actually said! So disappointing when you pay soo much for a once in a life time opportunity."

A third fan also demanded a refund after describing the sound quality as "pants".

They tweeted: "@spicegirls how disappointing to spend money on a ticket to see you @principalitysta and the support act stole the show! Sound was pants! #shuttheroof #sackthesoundguys #refundwanted"

Ceris also complained, tweeting: "@spicegirls it was a shame that you still had not fixed the sound at your Cardiff gig tonight. Couldn't hear half of it!"

The Spice Girls' Spice World tour will continue at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester (May 29 to June 1), followed by stops in Coventry's Ricoh Arena (June 3-4), Sunderland's Stadium Of Light (June 6), Edinburgh's BT Murrayfield Stadium (June 8), Bristol's Ashton Gate Stadium (June 10) and London's Wembley Stadium (June 13-15).
