TOWIE bosses have decided to give the ITVBe show a shake up, resulting in 10 of its cast members being axed from the programme.

It was reported that Courtney Green, 26, Chloe Meadows, 28, and Clelia Theodorou, 26, are three of the stars facing the cull.

Now a TOWIE source has told OK! that Nicole, 29, Tommy, 32, and Tom, 24, are in the same boat.

It's also been claimed that Nicole has been left "devastated" following the decision over her time on the show being cut shorter than she expected.

They also claimed that Harry Lee, 26, and Kelsey Stratford, 20, are two more of the casualties while Chloe Brockett, 20, will be returning as a cast member.

Nicole confirmed on Instagram: "I will not be on the next series of TOWIE. I went on to be with Olivia [Attwood] and Clee [Clelia Theodorou] and she got her own show that very same month.

"My group of girls are not part of the show either. I will miss a selective few though."

Besties Courtney and Chloe, who both joined the series in 2015, have been dropped alongside the stars for a revamp of the show after a drop of ratings.

Lime Pictures who produce TOWIE for ITVBe declined to comment on the news.

Fans have loved watching Amber Turner, 28, over the years and luckily she is one of the safe stars, as well as James Lock, 34, and Pete Wicks, 32.

Original cast member Amy Childs, 31, rejoined the series in 2020, and she will remain on the show.

However, her cousin Harry Derbidge, 27, has also been given the boot.

"Courtney and Chloe are gutted, they thought they were part of the furniture," a source said.

"But bosses feel the ruthless cull was needed to shake up the show."

They claimed: "Many of the stars are yet to be told ahead of meetings scheduled with producers today and are preparing themselves for the worst. It will be devastating for so many of them."

In a statement, TOWIE announced: "After more than 10 fabulous years following the lives of our ever-growing cast, TOWIE will be evolving with some changes.

'As it looks ahead to future series, the next instalment of our BAFTA award-winning show returns to Essex to follow a smaller group of cast members."
