Earlier this year, Zoe announced that she would take three weeks off for what is expected to be her upcoming ITV talent show, Mamma Mia.
Instead, Gary Davies has been stepping in for the Blackpool-born star.
She previously revealed: “[Vernon’s] new show starts in five days, the countdown has begun.
“But don’t worry, you don’t have to miss Gary, because he’s then going to look after this show for three weeks because I’m off filming something,” she added.
The eight-part TV series will search for a new Sophie and Sky to lead the West End production of Mamma Mia, which features the songs of ABBA.
Zoe will join a panel of judges including comedian Alan Carr, singer Jessie Ware, Glee’s Amber Riley and star of West End’s Frozen, Samantha Barks.
An airdate for the show has yet to be released.
Zoe will return to her usual radio breakfast slot next Wednesday which airs weekdays from 6.30am.
