Balakrishna underwent shoulder surgery at Care hospital in Hyderabad

Nandamuri Balakrishna was admitted to hospital in Hyderabad.  The sources say that Balakrishna has undergone shoulder surgery.  Simha star had complained of pain in his left shoulder which was bothering him for a long time now. . So, yesterday night, he  underwent surgery in Hyderabad’s Care hospital.

A statement from the medical representatives of the hospital said that Balayya had complained that he could not lift his right hand and was in extreme pain. The surgery is successful and Balakrishna will be discharged today night.  The doctor has advised him six weeks of best rest.

The hospital released a statement,  “Upon evaluation accompanied by an MRI, our team of Orthopedic Surgeons at the hospital, Banjara Hills, we decided to treat Balakrishna. Our shoulder surgeon, Dr Raghuveer Reddy, and Dr B N Prasad performed a 4 hour surgery to repair the shoulder muscle tendons successfully.

On the work front  Balakrishna will be seen playing the lead role in action drama Akhanda which has Pragya Jaiswal in the female lead.  Akhanda marks the third-time collaboration between Boyapati Srinu and Balakrishna, after the blockbuster movies Simha and Legend.  Popular composer S Thaman is the music composer and C Ram Prasad is handling the cinematography.
