Roof plaster in a municipal school in east Delhi’s Jaffrabad fell on Monday, injuring a student, EDMC officials said.
Additional commissioner Alka Sharma said that the student did not need to be hospitalised. An inquiry has been initiated. Ms. Sharma said that Engineering and Education Departments staff have been told to conduct inspections on the building, constructed in 1993, and on all of about 235 EDMC school buildings.
