Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati paid last respects to Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry

Telugu Lyricist Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry who was one of the popular lyricists and musicians in Tollywood passed away yesterday due to Lung Cancer at the age of 66. He was admitted to a hospital in the city a few days ago as he was diagnosed with pneumonia followed by lung complications. Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry’ funeral will take place today. However, celebs started arriving at his residence to pay their last respects. Chiranjeevi, who has very closely worked with Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry for many movies, arrived to pay his last respects.

Today morning megastar  Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh  Daggubati and Rana Daggubati paid last respects to Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry at Telugu film Chamber.

Yesterday after hearing the news of demise of Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry,  Chiranjeevi took to Twitter and shared a pic with him and wrote, He walked towards the gates of  the heaven like a walking star. He gave us literature as a gift. You will forever my friend.”

Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry  has penned lyrics for over 3000 songs. His big break came when he wrote the songs for his debut movie ‘Sirivennela. He has given lyrics to many blockbuster movies including Mahesh Babu’s Okkadu,  Young Rebel star Prabhas’ Chakram, Swati Kiranam, Shrutilayalu, Sindhooram and many others.
