Rahul Roy has been admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital. It seems the veteran suffered a brain stroke when he was shooting for his film in Kargil, Kashmir. In the film, he plays the role of an Army officer. It seems he suffered the stroke seven days back. The team rushed to a local hospital in Srinagar for initial treatment. Then, he was brought to Mumbai. He has been tested for COVID-19, and the tests have come out as negative. He is slowly recovering. Rahul Roy’s sister and brother-in-law are looking after him.
Rahul Roy’s brother-in-law Romir Sen told ABP News, “Rahul has been admitted to Nanavati hospital. Keeping in mind the COVID-19 crisis, he has been kept in the ICU as a precautionary measure. His Coronavirus test report has come out as negative. There is nothing to worry about. His health is also improving.” His sister, Priyanka also said that there was nothing to worry. Rahul Roy was shooting for a movie, LAC in Kargil. His co-star Nishant Singh Malkhani has shared pictures from the shoot.
The actor had done a number of films in Bollywood in the 1990s. Rahul Roy was also the winner of the first season of Bigg Boss.
