Trending Tunes: Mika Singh’s Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag and Tiger Shroff’s Unbelievable top the chart

It is being said that the trend of remakes is dying a slow death and it might hold true as well. But this week, a remake of Mika Singh’s popular upbeat song, Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag from Ginny Weds Sunny, starring Vikrant Massey and Yami Gautam, has topped the trending list in India. However, original compositions such as Tiger Shroff’s debut single, Unbelievable, and LOL from Ginny Weds Sunny, have also made an entry on the list at the second and third positions. Duniya Sharma Jayegi from Khaali Peeli and Genda Phool have also managed to crack the top five positions.

Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag

The remake of Mika Singh’s original composition has once again managed to strike a chord with the audience just like the original had. Mika, Neha Kakkar and Badshah have lent their voices and Payal Dev has recreated the music. The lyrics have been penned by Mohsin Shaikh and Payal Dev and rap lyrics by Badshah.

Unbelievable

Tiger Shroff has been mesmerising the audience with his soft voice and impressing everyone with his infectious dance moves. The song has been composed and written by Daniel Glavin, Kevin Pabon (English lyrics) and Avitesh Shrivastav (Hindi lyrics).

LOL

The upbeat Punjabi wedding song from Ginny Weds Sunny, featuring Vikrant Massey and Yami Gautam, has been composed by Payal Dev, sung by Payal Dev and Dev Negi, and penned by Kunaal Vermaa.

Duniya Sharma Jayegi

After facing immense criticism, Duniya Sharma Jayegi from Khaali Peeli, featuring Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Pandey, has once again climbed the chartbuster ladder. The song has been composed by Vishal-Shekhar, sung by Nakash Aziz and Neeti Mohan, and penned by Kumaar and Raj Shekhar.

Genda Phool

Genda Phool is a steamy track, with a distinct folk melody fused with uber-urban sounds. Featuring Jacqueline Fernandez and Payal Dev on the lead vocals, the song potentially marked a new era for Badshah.
