Sheridan Smith has claimed that she has NOT secretly married fiance Jamie Horn – despite wearing a wedding band.
At the weekend she sparked speculation the couple had finally wed after sharing a images of them both wearing rings on that finger.
But appearing on This Morning today via videolink, she addressed the rumours.
She said: "I do wear two bands on my hand, mainly because this one is too big and it does keep it on.
"But Jamie does wear his wedding ring, we're not actually married, we just do it. My friends do it but no one actually talks about it.
"We didn't think about it when we took a picture and put it on Twitter and then of course everyone thought that we were married."
The 37-year-old actress shared a shot of Jamie staring at his phone over lunch, and joked, "My conversation must be riveting."
But it was his left-hand ring finger that had everyone riveted with Jamie wearing a simple band.
And Sheridan appeared to be sporting her own bling earlier in the day with a simple band and halo solitaire clearly visible on her wedding ring finger.
Sheridan, 37, announced her engagement to the 28-year-old insurance broker last May, just three months after they met on Tinder.
In November, Jamie fuelled rumours they had got married after he was spotted wearing a wedding band. But the pair refused to confirm whether they had tied the knot.
However, it appeared there was trouble in paradise earlier this month when Sheridan accused him of hating her in a series of worrying tweets.
"FYI if I ever go missing look straight at Jamie and his nut job mum x" she wrote.
"She killed my dog so this woman is capable of anything. Also her son hates me like she does & they threaten me everyday x
"There it's out there. God knows how this will end but I love y'all."
But two days later she apologised for her outburst and said she'd been "hurt and angry" after learning her Pomeranian Panny had been killed by another dog.
"Thought I would clear up my silly rant. Firstly I apologise to anyone I upset, I was hurt and angry but this is no one's fault," she said.
