TheKapil Sharma Show is receiving a lot of flak from the audience and some celebrities as well. Recently, the Mahabharat cast except for Bhishma Pitamah aka Mukesh Khanna. The fans of the mythological TV show had expressed concerns over the absence of Mukesh from the Mahabharat reunion special episode of The Kapil Sharma Show. In a long post on Instagram, Mukesh Khanna had criticised Kapil Sharma’s show calling it vulgar. He even commented on the fact that men on the show dressed up as women to entertain the audience. The veteran actor, in his post, revealed that he had refused to go on the show on his own accord. And now, Gajendra Chauhan, Mukesh’s costar from Mahabharat has called out the actor’s remarks against one of the most popular TV shows. Gajendra Chauhan played Yudhisthira in Mahabharat and was a part of the reunion special episode.
When asked the actor about Mukesh’s remarks, Chauhan condemned his behaviour. “I think Mukeshji now finds grapes sour because he did not get to eat the grapes. This show has been number one, crores of people watch it and he calls it wahiyat (bad quality). He even said that in the show men dress in women’s clothes. He forgot that even in the Mahabharata, Arjun had dressed up as a girl and danced in a scene, should he have left the show too? Why did Mukeshji not leave Mahabharata at that time? I strongly condemn this behaviour of Mukeshji,” Chauhan said in an interview with Dainik Bhasker.
Khanna, in his post, had slammed Navjot Singh Sidhu and Archana Puran Singh over their jobs saying, “I do not understand laugh so much with this show. They place a fellow on the throne in the center. His job is to laugh. Even if the laughter is not genuine, it gives him money. Before this, brother Sidhu used to sit for this work. Now sister Archana does it. And what is their job? Just to laugh.”
