Denise Van Outen ex Eddie Boxshall has taken a swipe at the TV star, as he went public with his new girlfriend.<\/p>\n

The couple announced that they had split after seven years after Eddie sent texts of a sexual nature behind Denise's back, which ultimately ended their relationship.<\/p>\n

Eddie did say that he was "deeply sorry" and "ashamed" about the messages.<\/p>\n

However, it now appears that he is moving on as he has shared a snap of his new girlfriend, who is a personal trainer from Essex.<\/p>\n

People have been quick to notice that his new partner looks a lot like the actress, but Eddie had a quick response to those comments.<\/p>\n

Alongside the loved-up picture, Eddie wrote: "Bank holiday" followed by several hashtags: "#shhhthereyougo #idontdohating #thankstothenicepeople #happy."<\/p>\n

One of his followers commented: "Anyone going to state the obvious?"<\/p>\n

Eddie was quick to respond to the comment with a dig as he said: "Yeah, I'm happier than I've ever been… Well spotted."<\/p>\n

Forty nine year old Denise has also moved on, and she is currently seeing property developer Jimmy Barba.<\/p>\n

Denise spoke out about the break up in her new autobiography A Bit Of Me: From Basildon To Broadway And Back, where she revealed what set off her "alarm bells."<\/p>\n

The Celebrity Gogglebox star wrote: "Among photos was a screenshot\u2026of a woman\u2019s breasts \u2013 and they definitely weren\u2019t mine!<\/p>\n

"Also, there was a flirty text exchange between Eddie and this woman, which, of course, set off alarm bells."<\/p>\n

In May last year, Denise spoke to OK!<\/b> about opening up about her experiences in the book, and how it has helped her feel better.<\/p>\n

She told us: "It was an opportunity to be very open about certain things, and it\u2019s cathartic when you do something like that.<\/p>\n

"Some of it is difficult to talk about, but I think that after writing it and now it\u2019s out there, I feel better."<\/p>\n

Later that year,a source told OK!<\/b> that she was "smitten" with her new man. <\/p>\n

The source confirmed: "Denise is head over heels for Jimmy \u2013 he feels like a breath of fresh air and is a real man after all of Eddie's drama.<\/p>\n

"He makes her laugh, they're having so much fun together after meeting online. It's not been long, but she's smitten which is why she went on red carpet official with him."<\/p>\n

Since then, they have gone from strength to strength and have recently celebrated their first anniversary together.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
