\u201cITV\u2019s share price decreased 0.61 per cent overnight and that\u2019s estimated to have hit the company\u2019s value by at least \u00a320m to add to the turmoil of having to replace a top star.\u201d<\/p>\n
Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for ITV for comment.<\/p>\n
Holly was the most recent longest-serving presenter on the show, having joined in 2009.<\/p>\n
For the majority of her 14 years, she fronted the programme with Phillip Schofield, who left in May.<\/p>\n
The mother-of-three reportedly earned between \u00a370,000-\u00a31million a year as its star presenter, part of her estimated \u00a310 million net worth.<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n Last night, Holly thanked fans and her team for their support in a lengthy announcement about her exit.<\/p>\n Part of it read: “I have let ITV know today that after 14 years, I will not be returning to This Morning.<\/p>\n “To everyone who has ever worked on the show over the years, thank you so so much.<\/p>\n “This is such a difficult goodbye, you are incredible and I forever will be proud of what we’ve done together.<\/p>\n “Thank you to everyone at ITV for being supportive. To every guest who has sat on our sofa, thank you.<\/p>\n “Most of all, thank you to the wonderful viewers. You’ve been so loyal, so supportive and the very best company every day.”<\/p>\n Following her exit, Kevin Lygo, managing director of media and entertainment at ITV, said Holly remained “a much loved member of the ITV family” and said he looked forward to working with her in the future.<\/p>\n The statement opens the door for Holly to continue hosting Dancing On Ice when the new series returns next year.<\/p>\n On the show today, This Morning also paid tribute to their much loved presenter.<\/p>\n Host Rochelle Humes told viewers that Holly “loved her job here and was really looking forward to the future of the show but recent events, especially in the past week, have been hard to deal with and she’s quite rightly putting her family first”.<\/p>\n Craig Doyle added: “On behalf of everyone here, in front and behind the camera, we just loved working with Holly. She made coming to work so much fun. We are really, really sad and we’re really going to miss her.”<\/p>\n He went on to say Holly’s decision to leave was “heartbreaking” but as she knew “too well, the show must go on”.<\/p>\n
