Leonardo DiCaprio<\/strong> may be an Oscar<\/strong>-winning actor, but you just can\u2019t deny Taylor Swift<\/strong>\u2019s fandom.<\/p>\n This weekend, The Wolf of Wall Street<\/em> star went in head first at the box office to see if he could dethrone the Anti-Hero<\/em> singer\u2019s The Eras Tour<\/em> movie with his Martin Scorsese<\/strong>-directed Killers of the Flower Moon<\/em> — but spoiler alert: it couldn\u2019t be done!<\/p>\n According to Variety<\/em> on Sunday morning, despite KOTFM<\/em> opening to 3,628 theaters on premium IMAX and Dolby screens (which make for higher ticket prices), it could not overcome Taylor\u2019s massive box office draw. The outlet reported that KOTFM<\/em> raked in $23 million from North American theaters, while The Eras Tour<\/em> movie held the first place position strong in it\u2019s second weekend with $33 million.<\/p>\n DAMN! Swifties show UP!<\/p>\n This is no easy win for Taylor, either\u2026 We mean, KOTFM<\/em>, which stars Oscar darlings like Leo, Robert De Niro<\/strong>, Brendan Fraser<\/strong>, and more, opened to stellar reviews.
