Krishnan Guru-Murthy has lifted the lid on this year\u2019s \u201cpretty active\u201d Strictly Come Dancing group chat.<\/p>\n
According to the 53-year-old, the WhatsApp group allows celebrities such as himself, Bobby Brazier and Zara McDermott to stay in touch during the week and offers support after \u201ca bad moment\u201d.<\/p>\n
Discussing the purpose of the chat, Krishnan said: “We come together on a Friday, but we’re all in touch during the week because we’ve got a WhatsApp group.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs soon as someone is having a bad moment, they’ll go on the group and say, ‘I’m having a terrible day’ and everyone else will pile in with their own experiences and advice, or Angela Rippon will tell you about her cryotherapy chamber.\u201d<\/p>\n
As well as using the digital space to uplift one another, the BBC contestants reportedly use it to \u201cshare information, support, jokes and gags\u201d.<\/p>\n

We’re all getting along really, really well,\u201d he told Bella magazine.<\/p>\n Elsewhere in the interview, the Channel 4 newsreader claimed that as well as having a solid relationship with his fellow Strictly stars, he enjoys speaking to the show\u2019s judges.<\/p>\n This year, the panel is manned by Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas.<\/p>\n Krishnan said about the quartet: “I find their comments so intelligent and helpful. They’re giving us constructive advice that I then take away and go, ‘Right I’ve got to do something about that\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n The journalist’s comments regarding the \u2018caring\u2019 Strictly cast come after a reported feud between Giovanni Pernice and Amanda Abbington. The latter pulled out of competing for the Glitterball Trophy earlier this week.<\/p>\n It\u2019s claimed that Amanda, 49, found the 33-year-old\u2019s \u201caggressive training style\u201d and general attitude towards rehearsals \u201cpretty difficult to handle.\u201d<\/p>\n Don’t miss… <\/strong> <\/p>\n
