Amanda Abbington shuts down feud rumours with Gio and says they ‘laugh a lot’<\/h3>\n

Strictly Come Dancing star Amanda Abbington’s exit from the show reportedly “really annoyed” her professional dance partner Giovanni Pernice as he was not warned she would quit, it has been claimed.<\/p>\n

The actress took to Instagram yesterday to confirm her departure telling fans: “For personal reasons I was unable to continue.”<\/p>\n

Amanda, 49, went on to thank the team for their support but failed to mention or tag Giovanni in the post.<\/p>\n

Now, an insider has said: \u201cAmanda didn\u2019t tell Giovanni she had decided to quit the show. The first he heard was a call from a producer.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis has really annoyed him. He\u2019s barely heard from her for 10 days.<\/p>\n

They added to the Daily Star: “She hasn\u2019t been replying to messages or telling him what\u2019s happening.”<\/p>\n

The “frustrated” professional dancer is said to be “complaining” about the situation to his friends and is worried the drama will make him “look bad”.<\/p>\n

A representative for Giovanni has told Express.co.uk the claims are “nonsense”.<\/p>\n

Express.co.uk has also contacted a spokesperson for Strictly for comment.<\/p>\n

The Strictly pro is yet to like or comment on Amanda’s post fuelling feud rumours between the pair.<\/p>\n

He did however share a brief statement about his time with the actress on the show after her exit was announced.<\/p>\n
