Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme, who revealed earlier this year that he was diagnosed with cancer in 2022, said in a recent interview that he’s “all clear” now after treatment.

“I’m good. I’m all clear,” Homme told ITV and added that he’s feeling “the best I’ve felt all year.”

Homme revealed over the summer that he had undergone surgery for cancer last year and that it was successful. However, he did not share any further details about his illness at the time and just said he was “extremely thankful that I’ll get through this.”

In the recent interview, Homme also opened up the recent losses of several people who were close to him, saying, “A lot of people have passed away near [me], nine people in the last … year and a half now.”

Among his close friends who have passed away in that time were his former Queens of the Stone Age bandmate Mark Lanegan and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.
