{"id":186420,"date":"2023-12-08T19:25:56","date_gmt":"2023-12-08T19:25:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/indiansapidnews.com\/?p=186420"},"modified":"2023-12-08T19:25:56","modified_gmt":"2023-12-08T19:25:56","slug":"see-manish-tewaris-fiery-reply-to-debate-on-mahua","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/indiansapidnews.com\/india\/see-manish-tewaris-fiery-reply-to-debate-on-mahua\/","title":{"rendered":"SEE: Manish Tewari&#8217;s fiery reply to debate on Mahua"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Lok Sabha witnessed a heated debate Friday on an Ethics Committee report recommending Trinamool Congress MP <strong>Mahua Moitra&#8217;s expulsion<\/strong> in the cash-for-query issue.<\/p>\n<p>Participating in the debate, Congress member Manish Tewari contended the report of the Ethics Committee was &#8216;fundamentally flawed&#8217; as it did not have the powers to recommend the expulsion of a member.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Congress member said the Ethics Committee at best can make recommendations and not decide whether a person was guilty or innocent.
